Welcome to our Digital Marketing and Social Media Apprentice…. Luke Marriage!
We’d like to officially offer a huge, public welcome to our newest member of the team, Luke Marriage. Luke joined us just over a month ago on a Digital Marketing and Social Media Apprenticeship and has already become an invaluable member of the team.
Born and raised in Northamptonshire, not long turned 18, Luke has just finished his A-levels and whilst his mates and girlfriend headed off to Uni, Luke decided to gain his experience ‘hands on’ and get stuck in to an apprenticeship. With several offers of employment, Luke chose to start his career here with us at ID Card Centre – and we are thankful that he did!
Quick to learn and with a great eye for detail and practical, common sense approach to everything he’s tasked with, we’re quickly wondering how we coped without him!
With a website of over 1500 products ensuring it is kept up to date with the best pricing, plain English descriptions and easy to use layout is more than a full time job and a task that keeps Luke and Nic very busy on a daily basis.
Luke will also soon be managing all of our Social Media accounts – as we think these things are best left to the ‘kids’ – a job he is itching to get started with!
Outside of work, Luke’s hobbies include playing and watching football, with his favourite team being Arsenal. Unfortunately for him he’s in an office of Rugby loving, Northampton Saints supporters so we don’t provide him with much Monday morning footie banter!
Luke does also have a love of history, in particular World War 2, so fits in well with Willys Jeep owning, ‘Geek Weekend’ attending, MD Ben O’Brien. What’s left of Luke’s spare time sees him volunteering at the Towcester Museum, keeping up-to-date with current affairs and cooking – we’re not sure how he finds the time for it all!
If you’d like to contact Luke or you have any comments or suggestions for the website he’d love to hear from you and he can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org.
That just leaves us to say again, welcome Luke – we hope you have a long and happy career with us!
