We’re delighted to announce that ID Card Centre have secured ISO 9001:2015 certification covering its entire business operation.
Receiving our official Certificate of Registration is recognition for all the hard work the whole team has put in over several years to ensure that not only have we grown as a business but that we’ve done it sustainably and consistently.
Headed up by Director and Quality Manager, Nicola O’Brien, achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification has been on the agenda for quite some time. Having previously worked for organisations that had also achieved ISO 9001:2015, Nicola recognised the benefits it would bring to the business from a customer, employee and business opportunity perspective.
“I saw only positives, however being a perfectionist, I was unsure if we were truly ready and how to go about it. Following a huge period of growth over the last two years, which has seen the team grow, departments form, and our premises increase – I felt now was the perfect time to put the rubber stamp on everything we’ve worked so hard to build.”
– Nicola O’Brien, Director
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for a Quality Management System, or QMS as it is sometimes referred to. Certification to the standard was issued by BSI (British Standards Institution). The certification considers a business’s customer service, internal leadership and capacity for continual improvement along with many other aspects of the business’s QMS.
ID Card Centre holds certificate number FS 707620 and operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for the following scope:
The design, printing and encoding of plastic cards. The design and provision of personalised lanyards and accessories. The provision of ID card printers, ID card printer consumables, associated ID accessories, card readers, card management software and visitor management systems.
“Huge congratulations to the team at ID Card Centre for this achievement. Attaining certification to ISO9001 will provide its customers and stakeholders with the confidence that it is carrying out best practice in quality management and is focused on continually improving its products and services.”
