Introducing the latest printer from IDP, the SMART-70 Series. A fully modular printer, which allows the user to custom build a system to their exact requirements, upgrading to additional modules as required.
The SMART-70 Series is a high capacity card printer, ideally suited to users that require large print runs. The printer is very durable, with a metal frame, shaft and bearings.
The 2-line LED indicator screen provides a helpful user interface, making set up and operation straightforward notifying the user when the ribbon needs changing, when cards are running low or card hopper is full, for example.
This upgraded system is comprised of the printer module, 500 card input hopper and 500 card output hopper (upgraded from 100 card output stacker). The large capacity output hopper ensures cards are not scratched, raising the stacked cards out of the way.

All modules connect with an alignment plate and are secured with a physical lock and a Kensington lock for increased security. Each module has its own power supply and is connected to the next module with a communication cable to synchronise their operation.
Installation and operation of the entire printer system is very simple and can be set up in minutes, without the need for any tools. The printer and laminator both use ‘drawer type’ cartridges, making them very quick and easy to replace.
