Paxton designed these keyfobs specifically for the Paxton10 system. Each one stores its card and user information in an encrypted, password-protected sector, and every fob in the pack is covered by Paxton's lifetime guarantee.
Adding Paxton10 Keyfobs to Your System
Issuing a fob is handled entirely in the Paxton10 web-based software. You create the user, enter their details, then present the keyfob to a Paxton10 Universal desktop reader (010-392) to link it to that person. From then on, the user holds the fob near any proximity reader on site, and the system checks their credentials and permissions before granting or refusing entry. As your team grows, further packs can be added in the same way. If a token is lost or someone leaves, you can invalidate it in the software so it stops working on every door.
Proximity Keyfobs Built for Daily Handling
Key fobs get dropped, carried in bags and occasionally washed with a pair of trousers. Paxton builds these to be durable, water-resistant and wash-proof, with a smart, compact shape that sits neatly on a key ring. Paxton has switched the ring colour on this 10-pack from white to blue. The colour is the only difference, so new and existing fobs work side by side on the same Paxton10 system.
Paxton Access Control Fobs for Other Systems
Each Paxton system has its own range of tokens, so if your doors aren't on Paxton10, one of these will suit you better:
Paxton Net2. The Paxton Net2 Proximity Key Fobs (695-644) are the standard Net2 fob. For a wrist-worn option, the Paxton Net2 WatchProx (698-574) suits staff who'd rather not carry keys.
Switch2 and Compact. Standalone Switch2, Proximity Compact and EasyProx Compact systems use the Paxton Proximity 10 Keyfob Pack (820-010), which comes with shadow cards so a lost fob can be voided at the door.
Paxton10 hands-free. The Paxton10 Bluetooth Handsfree KeyFob (010-690) opens doors without the user presenting anything, which is useful for staff with their hands full.
Paxton10 cards. If your users prefer a card format, Paxton also makes Paxton10 Cards in packs of 10 (010-427).
