The DS2 comes as standard as a single sided ID card printer with the optional upgrade of double side, also known as dual-sided, for more advanced and complex finishes. Depending on your preference, the Entrust Sigma DS2 is capable of producing both monochrome and full colour cards at 300 dpi (dots per inch) for vibrant and sharp images, text and barcodes, printing up to 225 single-sided cards per hour, 140 double-sided cards per hour and 880 single-sided cards per hour giving you the ability to easily issue both full-colour and monochrome ID's without delay.

The Sigma DS2 offers advanced smart card encoding options, making it ideal for secure identity management. The DS2 supports contact and contactless smart card encoding, including MIFARE, DESFire, and iCLASS technologies, which are widely used and are common amongst security and identification systems. This printer integrates seamlessly with various card management systems, ensuring smooth processes.
