Fargo DTC1250e ID Card Printer

An ideal solution for smaller ID card print jobs (perfect for small businesses, local governments and schools), this DTC1250e offers card printing on both sides of the card if you purchase the dual sided ID card printer version. It's optional upgrade therefore maximises the capabilities on your card. With the direct-to-card printing technology, you can produce high-quality full-colour (YMCKO) or monochrome (single-colour) card designs in seconds. The technology is a simplified process, the FARGO DTC1250e directly prints onto the cards surface by heating the printhead then pressurising this onto the card. 

Taking up to 6 seconds for a monochrome card to be printed, you can also create full colour cards in an outstanding 16 seconds. If you prefer dual-sided cards and have this printer upgrade, each cards takes roughly 24 seconds. The 300 dpi resolution ensures crisp, enhanced card designs making sure you get the most out of the DTC1250e. 

Encoding options are an additional upgrade that can enhance your security measures within your business. The FARGO DTC1250e offers a magstripe encoder which allows you to code data into the strip at the back of your cards, therefore making it compatible with your access control systems. The upgradeable OMNIKEY 5121 smart card encoder offers contactless encoding as an alternative for businesses that require seamless entry every time.

The FARGO DTC1250e ID card printer delivers maximum performance each print and is designed to print on plastic cards (PVC) in order to produce your designs. It is designed for small-medium sized businesses looking to enhance their photo ID in a cost-effective way.

With an easy setup and intuitive user-friendly interface, the standard single sided ID card printer is an ideal solution for full colour and single colour cards. The optional magnetic stripe encoding and ethernet, as well as contactless OMNIKEY makes it easy to use in a variety of office environments depending on if you need access control.

Magnetic Stripe & OMNIKEY 5121 Contactless Encoder


Printing and encoding is a great way for preventing unauthorised access to confidential information or rooms. The magnetic stripe encoding is the ideal printing solution for office environments and any business looking to prevent data breaches. With the upgrade on this DTC1250e, you can encode the black stripe at the back of your cards to be compatible with your access control systems.

Alternatively, if you prefer contactless access, the OMNIKEY 5121 allows you to encode the embedded chip inside the card, which can be utilised for multiple applications.


Ethernet Upgrade


Equipped with many upgrades, this FARGO printer can meet all your requirements. With an optional ethernet upgrade, you are given another choice of connectivity. Ethernet over USB allows for remote access making it great for print jobs without being close to the printer. Whether you require the single sided (050020) or double-sided with ethernet (0501200), the DTC1250e upgrade provides security and access for multiple users across a network.


Full Colour & Monochrome Printer Ribbons


Our user-focused easy to use ribbons are built to work with this FARGO printer. We offer monochrome (Single-Colour) and full colour ribbons (YMCK), as well as dual-sided printing ribbons (YMCKO-K) allowing you to produce visually rich images every time.
