With the 300dpi printing technology, the IDP Smart 70 creates sharp, vibrant designs with your desired printer ribbons. The printer is built with a metal frame, ensuring the highest durability, which also makes it scratch-free. 

The Smart 70 comes standard as single-sided, with an upgradable flipper module which helps you print double-sided cards. Its print speeds are like no other. You can produce 225 full colour cards or 1000 monochrome cards per hour, which makes this printer ideal for scaling your production, whether it's for events, large organisations and more. Alongside the quick printing speeds, IDP also features a 500-card input hopper with a 100-card output hopper. 

If you prefer to upgrade to the full system, we offer this as an option. This large-capacity printer is similar in specifications however, it offers both a 500-card input and output hopper, meaning you can leave the printer to produce your unique card designs without supervision. It is built with a metal frame, ensuring the highest durability, which also makes it scratch-free. 

Printer upgrades are essential for a printer with this many capabilities. We offer a lamination unit and a flipper module which is designed to add a protective layer over your cards whilst printing double-sided designs. With these upgrades, you can essentially create your own unique printer based on your requirements.

Security is built in throughout the Smart 70 range. Every module includes a Kensington lock, and the printer itself uses PC and password authentication as standard, so only authorised users and machines can access it. For organisations that need more than printing, the Hybrid Flipper module can be upgraded to support magnetic stripe, contact and contactless smart card encoding, covering standards including ISO 7811, ISO 14443, MIFARE, DESFire and iCLASS. This means the same printer can handle both card production and access control encoding, without needing a separate system.
