About the Magicard Helix Additional Custom HoloKote® Key

The HoloKote® from Magicard is a security feature that adds a design, image or logo on to the surface of the cards making them much harder to copy or fake.  HoloKote® is effectively a watermark printed into the overlay of the card, which becomes visible when tilted in the light.  This is done during the normal print cycle with a YMCKS ribbon that includes the secure HoloKote panel in addition to the coloured dye panels.   

The Magicard Helix comes with 10 designs as standard but you also have the option of creating your own design, whether that be using an image or a logo.  You can choose to have either a single image or logo stretched across the whole card or a smaller image repeated in a grid pattern. 

By selecting this product, we will then contact you to find out the requirements of your design, which will then be created by the manufacturers, UltraID, and logged on their database to ensure that it is not possible for anyone else to order the exact same design again - giving you complete peace of mind that your ID cards will be completley unique and secure.

Additionally due to advances in technology, the new Magicard Helix ID card printer cleverly uses the wavelengths and lens effect of the retransfer print process to manipulate the retransfer film so that it becomes fluorescent under UV lighting conditions enabling your unique design to be easily seen when held under UV light.
