Ordering personalised printed lanyards couldn't be easier. All you have to do is choose the options you require, such as material width, clip type, and design, and we'll do the rest!

Choose from a range of options to customise your lanyards to your requirements. There are several different clip types available, including durable metal clips, as well as safety breakaway features and different widths. The material your lanyards are printed on will depend on the intricacy of the design you want.

Lanyards are made from polyester fibres, which can be smooth or textured. Polyester fabrics can also be made from recycled plastic bottles.

Design your own custom artwork, allowing you to be creative and produce lanyards you know fits your brand. If you are supplying your own artwork, we recommend designing your lanyards on software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator. Artwork may also be supplied as a PDF.

Alternatively, if you prefer to opt for our artwork service, we work with our customers to create the best branded lanyards possible, making sure your needs are met, ultimately making the process easier for you.

When all your lanyards have been printed, we quality check them to ensure each lanyard is exactly to your requirements. They'll then be securely packaged and dispatched to your delivery address by one of our trusted couriers, ready to be worn and promote your branding.

With various different options available, you can customise your lanyards to ensure they perfectly suit your requirements.

Polyester is the main material for lanyards, but there are subtle differences depending on the width and printing method used. Lanyards with an intricate full colour design will use a smooth type of polyester, whilst simple logo designs may be printed onto a more textured material.

There are several options for the width of your lanyards, including:

• 10mm
• 15mm
• 20mm
• 25mm

The most suitable thickness for your lanyard depends on the intricacy of your design, the comfort levels you require, and the weight of the item it intends to hold.

Alongside the width and material of your polyester lanyards, you can customise the type of clip you want. Clips are used to attach the lanyard to the item it holds, such as an ID card holder, name badges, slot punched cards, or a mobile phone. Clips can be made of either plastic or metal, with various types available.

Alongside the different clips, you can add health and safety breakaways to your lanyard. These are small clips that force apart if any weight is applied to the lanyard. 

Health and safety breakaways are usually added at the back of the lanyard, halfway through the material, but you can choose to add multiple breakaway clips for better safety measures. Ideal for staff lanyards in healthcare settings, or where the wearer may be more vulnerable.

There are two print processes for printing custom lanyards. Each method produces top-quality results, ensuring you get the most out of your personalisation. 

The dye sublimation technique is a cost-effective, high-quality printing method, making it perfect for businesses of all sizes. It works by heating up coloured ink over the lanyard, which then embeds itself into the material with pressure, making the design longer lasting. No fading or cracks will appear, making this technology great for daily wear and tear. This method is best used for intricate, colourful designs.

Designed for more simple artwork. this printing method (screen printing) utilises a mesh screen, which is pushed the ink onto the lanyard. This is a great alternative for simpler designs like text and logos, and can only be used if your design features a maximum of four colours. For detailed graphics like patterns or multiple colours, please choose dye sublimation lanyards.
