About Guardall Proximity Fobs - 2 Pack
Please note that this product has replaced Guardall Cards W73837 and these fobs should be used as a direct replacement.
Guardall Proximity Card - 2 Pack that can be used in conjunction with the prox keypads and proximity readers to provide setting/unsetting of the system.
In general, keypads with readers which use an additional reader interface as well as readers PC1100 will not work with the replacement fobs. This specifically relates to products installed before 2007.
If you have a system which was installed between 2006 and 2007 please check if the keypad / reader has the following firmware or newer:
Keypads with reader must have firmware V3.0 or later will be able to use the replacement fobs (batch code 0107 and later)
Readers PC1240 W73821 with firmware V1.05 or later will operate properly (batch code 0107 and later)
Older products may no longer be supported due to this change. The only option with a non-supported product is to replace these units unfortunately as we are unable to get hold of the older fobs.
This product is made of a type of plastic which is not commonly recycled in the UK. It therefore cannot be disposed of in your normal recycling refuse collection.
We recommend taking it to your local recycling centre for a securer and more eco-friendly disposal.

Verification of the current firmware version:
If you are in doubt as to which firmware version you have, you can use menu 60 of the installer menu to check the keypad version. In most cases the keypad version is also shown inside the keypad itself.
When it comes to the reader, check is there is a label on the showing PC1240. The firmware version should be located on a label inside the reader which will require you to open up the reader to check (simply undo the four screws)
