About the Acre Proximity Key Fob
Proximity key fobs for Acre access control systems, supplied in packs of ten. Acre was formerly ACT and is now part of Vanderbilt, so you will see these listed under both names: the part number ACTPROXFOB-B and the Acre reference EM10T3 are the same fob.
Each fob carries a unique number encoded at the factory and is read by any 125kHz proximity reader in the Acre or ACT range. There is nothing to set up on the fob itself. You enrol its number against a user in your access control software, and remove it there if the fob is lost or someone leaves.
The fobs are keyring sized and need no battery or maintenance.
Most sites buy in tens so there are spares on hand for new starters and replacements. If you are not sure whether your readers are 125kHz proximity or a smartcard technology such as MIFARE, send us the reader model and we will confirm before you order.
This product is made of a type of plastic which is not commonly recycled in the UK. It therefore cannot be disposed of in your normal recycling refuse collection.
We recommend taking it to your local recycling centre for a securer and more eco-friendly disposal.
