About the Badge Buddy Enclosed Card Holder
This enclosed card holder holds up to two standard CR80 cards (86mm x 54mm), and is ideal for staff ID, visitor passes, student cards, membership cards, or event passes. The cards are fully protected on both sides by clear polycarbonate. At 90mm x 62mm plus the clip, it's compatible with badge reels, clips, lanyards, and chains, so it fits straight into whatever your team already uses.
Being clear on both sides means you can display two cards at once, or show both sides of a single card if information is printed on the reverse. A thumb slot on the back makes removing a card straightforward, so it's handy if you're swiping a magnetic stripe card regularly or need quick access for a braille sticker.
A note on recyclability: this product is made from a type of plastic not commonly recycled through standard UK kerbside collection. So, when they are ready to be recycled, we'd recommend taking it to a local recycling centre rather than your normal household recycling. Our approach here follows guidance from the British Plastics Federation, who consider recyclable and compostable materials a better environmental solution than biodegradable ones, which need very specific conditions to break down and can otherwise leave microplastics behind in soil and water. Read more directly from the BPF here.
Pair it with one of our pre-printed lanyards to complete your ID setup in one order.
This product is made of a type of plastic that is not commonly recycled in the UK. It therefore cannot be disposed of in your normal recycling refuse collection.
We recommend taking it to your local recycling centre for a securer and more eco-friendly disposal.
