About Cotag IB981 Passive Keyring Tag 10 pack
The Cotag IB981 (also known as 981-961) is a factory-encoded passive tag which does not include a battery. It can be used in combination with any Cotag reader. When used in conjunction with a Cotag hands-free reader‚ the reading range is up to 29 cm. With Cotag proximity readers‚ the reading range with the IB981 is between 2 and 9cm.
One of the main advantages of Cotag technology is that you can mix both active and passive cards on the same system to provide the maximum convenience and cost-efficiency.
