Datacard YMCKT Colour Printer Ribbon - 534700-004-R010

Datacard YMCKT Colour Ribbon 534700-004-R010 (Replaces 534000-003)

This ribbon replaces Datacard’s 534000-003, so if your SD260, SD360 or SD460 has never had a firmware update, it won’t recognise the new cartridge until you run one. The update takes a few minutes, and after that, your printer takes 534700-004-R010 ribbons as standard.

• Compatible Printers: Datacard SD260, SD360 and SD460 (firmware update required)

The yellow, magenta and cyan panels combine to print staff photos and logos in full colour. The black resin panel handles names, text and barcodes, so they come out sharp enough for a scanner to read first time. The final panel lays a clear topcoat over the card, which protects the print from fading and scratches as it’s handled every day.

The cleaning card and sleeve in the box are there to clear dust from the printer’s rollers each time you change the ribbon. Dust that gets onto a card shows up as specks or gaps in the print, and it wears the printhead over time. For a deeper clean, our ID card printer cleaning kits cover the rest of the printer.

Ribbons have a shelf life of around a year, so store spares somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. An old or badly stored ribbon is far more likely to tear or jam partway through a print run.

Every ribbon we sell is genuine Datacard, and we guarantee the quality of each one. A genuine ribbon gives you consistent colour and keeps the printhead in good condition for the life of your printer.
