EM Format 125kHz Proximity Keyfob Overview

125kHz EM is one of the most widely used formats in proximity access control, but a proximity key fob only works if it matches the format your readers expect. These SecurAccess fobs are EM format, so they suit door entry and access control systems built on 125kHz EM readers. Each proximity fob arrives ready to enrol. Present it to your system’s desktop reader or enter its ID number in your access control software, then assign the user’s access levels. The printed sequential number matches each fob to its record, so you can see at a glance who holds which fob without scanning it.

When a fob is lost or stolen, delete its ID from the system and that fob will no longer open any door, then issue a replacement from the same pack. With 100 fobs per pack, there are always spares on hand for new starters, contractors and replacements.

The compact fob attaches to a keyring, key chain or lanyard, and with no battery to replace, it needs no maintenance. It suits office buildings, residential blocks, car park barriers, schools and industrial sites, as well as time and attendance systems that use 125kHz EM readers.
