EM4200 White PVC 125kHz Proximity Cards (Pack of 100)

The EM4200 is a read-only 125kHz proximity chip made by EM Microelectronic, designed as a direct replacement for the older EM4100 and EM4102 chips. Each card carries a unique 128-bit code that’s laser-programmed into the chip at the factory, so it can’t be changed or overwritten. When a card is presented, the reader picks up that number and your access control or attendance system checks it against the cards you’ve enrolled.

  • Chip: EM4200, read only
  • Frequency: 125kHz
  • Memory: 128-bit unique code, programmed at the factory
  • Card size: CR80 credit card size, 30 mil thick
  • Material: White PVC
  • Pack size: 100 cards

The plain white PVC surface takes monochrome or full colour print on one or both sides from ID card printers, so each card can double as a photo ID badge and act as identification and secure access control.

The EM4200 uses the same communication protocols as the EM4100 and EM4102, which makes it a natural fit for topping up or replacing cards on systems built around those chips. Let us know which reader you use and we’ll confirm the cards will read on it before you order.

Because each card’s number is fixed, enrolling it simply means recording that number on your system. If you’d rather not do that card by card, we can capture the serial numbers for you and print the cards at the same time.

If you’re planning a move to 13.56MHz MIFARE but still have EM readers on some doors, our EM4200 with MIFARE Classic EV1 1K dual technology cards carry both chips, so one card works with both types of reader throughout the changeover.

For places where a card isn’t practical, such as changing rooms and pool areas, the same chip comes in EM4200 125kHz RFID silicone wristbands.
