About the IDP SMART 31 and ​51 YMCKO Half Colour Printer Ribbon with Cleaning Roller 

When used with the Smart printer this full colour 350 print ribbon produces the highest quality thermal printed card on the market today. This ribbon can be used when colour is only required to half of the card, for example for a photograph or logo, and full black personalisation is required to one full side. By using a half panel ribbon for colour printing, you will save money on your consumable costs.  The YMC panels combine to print in full colour and the black resin panel is suitable for printing black text and readable barcodes and the overlay panel provides some protection from fading and scratching.

  • The ribbon includes a tacky cleaning roller

The YMCKO ribbon comprises Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black and Overlay panels.

It is also worth noting that printer ribbons typically have a shelf life of one year when stored in the correct conditions (cool, dry and out of direct sunlight). Ribbons that are older or improperly stored are likely to cause problems such as ripping, imperfect printing and jamming the printer.
