IDP Smart 81 Retransfer ID Card Printer

The IDP Smart-81 printer sets a new standard with its innovative retransfer heating technology rapid retransfer printing technology, achieving the industry’s fastest 'Ready-to-Print' time. This versatile printer is designed for a wide range of applications offering optional features such as double sided printing, a laminating module, ethernet connectivity, and smartcard encoding.


Design Flexibility

The SMART-81 retransfer printer is equipped with a 200-card input hopper and excels in both full-colour printing and laminating as well as efficient monochrome printing with magnetic encoding. It provides a variety of encoding options, including magnetic stripe, contact, and contactless smart cards, all supported by IDP’s OpenMag driver for seamless legacy compatibility. Its advanced security features include a security lamination module, bank card issuance compliance, UV and SMART Mark printed security, and options for keyed consumables with a Kensington® lock to meet security standards. The SMART-81 Series brings you into a new era of trusted identity printing, combining innovation, speed, and reliability.

For a longer printer life, the Smart 81 features intelligent anti-dust circulation throughout the body of the printer and a built-in fine dust filter that removes fine dust for less frequent printer cleaning, optimising your print quality and insuring high resolution for all prints.
