About the Javelin J200i and J230i YMC (Half Panel) KO Colour Ribbon 

The five-panel YMC (half panel) KO ribbon consists of half panels of Yellow (Y), Magenta (M) and Cyan (C) and full panels of Black (K) and Overlay (O) for use with the Javelin J200i, J200iF, J230i and J230iF printers.  This ribbon can be used when colour is only required to half of the card, for example for a photograph or logo, and full black personalisation is required to one full side.  The overlay panel provides some protection from fading and scratching.

By using a half panel ribbon for colour printing, you will save money on your consumable costs.
