PAC OneProx™ GS3 LF Standard Reader (20111) Overview

The PAC OneProx GS3 LF Standard Reader is a low frequency proximity reader for PAC access control that also connects to many third-party systems through Wiegand. Its integral tamper circuit meets EN 50131-1 and 3, so the same reader can be wired to an intruder alarm panel as well. That lets a site use one reader range and one token for its doors and its alarm, and staff only need to carry a single credential.

Built-in switches set the supported card formats and the output format on site, so there’s no need for programming cards. Wiegand emulation mode lets the reader mimic many popular Wiegand reader brands. This solution helps when a reader on a third-party system needs replacing. The PAC64 output works with PAC 512 and PAC 212 LF controllers only.

For a narrow door frame, the OneProx GS3 LF Mullion Reader (20110) has a slimmer profile. For exposed doors where damage is a risk, the LF Vandal Reader (20116) has a stainless steel housing rated to IP67. If a site is moving onto HF credentials such as MIFARE® and DESFire®, the Mullion and Standard readers also come in Multi Technology versions that read those alongside PAC tokens.

The Standard reader fits on the side of a door, inside or out, thanks to the clever design and fixes directly to most flush-mounted electrical back boxes. Its mounting bracket hides the fixing screws, and a single screw attaches the reader for a neat finish. A red and green light bar with an audible sounder confirms each valid or invalid read.
