ID Solutions for Construction

Identification on site shouldn't rely on trust alone.

Anyone can claim to be from the gas board, a delivery firm, or your subcontractor. Without visible, verifiable identification, that trust becomes a target for impersonation and fraud, exposing customers, site staff, and your reputation to an avoidable risk.

Site-Ready Durability

Cards, lanyards and holders built for tough site conditions

Fast Turnaround

1-2 working day delivery times for replacement ID cards

UK-Based Team

Real people who understand site compliance pressure

25 Years' Experience

Site Access That Keeps Pace With Your Workforce

Subcontractors move between sites weekly, and a gate that can't verify who's actually approved to be there is a liability waiting to happen. Here's how we keep site access moving as fast as your workforce does.

Verifying Site Access at the Gate

A turnstile or gate reader checks a card against your approved list in seconds, so entry isn't left to a security guard recognising a face or trusting a hi-vis vest. Only genuinely authorised workers, contractors and visitors get through.

One Consistent System Across Every Site

Main contractors running several sites at once don't want a different card design, reader, and reorder process at each one. A single, centrally controlled system keeps every site working to the same specification, wherever it is.

Same-Day Replacement for Lost Cards

A card dropped in mud or left in yesterday's overalls shouldn't cost a worker a day's access. Express reissue, through an on-site ID card printer, gets them back on site the same day.

Mobile Credentials for a Changing Workforce

Subcontractor teams rotate constantly, and issuing a new physical card to every temporary worker adds up fast. Mobile ID credentials, held on a phone almost every worker already carries, can be issued and revoked instantly as crews change.

Common ID Issues in Trade and Construction

A Card or Competency Lapsing Without Anyone Noticing

A CSCS card or a specific competency can expire quietly partway through a contract, and on a busy site, nobody's job is to check every card's date every morning. A system that flags expiry before it becomes a compliance gap catches this before an auditor does.

An Accurate Headcount When the Workforce Changes Week to Week

A muster point is only useful if the list behind it is current, and a site with rotating subcontractors can have a different workforce most weeks. Access records tied to live card issuance keep that headcount accurate without a manual recount.

Several Subcontractors Running Their Own ID Systems on One Site

It's common for each subcontractor on a large site to arrive with their own lanyard, their own card design, and their own idea of who's allowed where. A single site-wide system brings every firm's workers onto one shared standard without taking over how each subcontractor runs their own team.

Access Records That Don't Hold Up to an HSE Audit

When an audit or an incident review asks who was on site and when, a signing-in book or a memory of who was wearing which lanyard isn't good enough. Card-based access control creates a real, timestamped record that holds up when it's actually needed.

Our ID Solutions for Construction Sites

These are the four solutions our construction customers rely on most to keep a site secure, compliant and moving.

ID Card Printers

On-site printers let a main contractor set up identification for a new starter, a temporary worker, or a visiting subcontractor within minutes, rather than waiting on an external print run to reach a remote site.

Access Control Card Readers

Gate and turnstile readers check a card in real time against your approved list, keeping entry fast for genuine workers and closed to anyone who shouldn't be there.

Mobile ID Credentials

Site access is held on a phone almost every worker already carries, issued and revoked instantly as subcontractor crews rotate, without needing a physical card reissued every time someone changes site.

Smart ID Cards and Fobs

Access control credentials that work with turnstiles and gate readers, so only approved workers, contractors and visitors get on site, with clearance changed instantly the moment someone's role or contract ends.

Building the Right ID Strategy for Your Site

Not every part of a site needs the same level of security, so we help you build the right ID strategy for your site. We work with you to understand which areas are open to every trade, which need restricting and whether there's already access control hardware in place that a new system needs to work around rather than replace.

From there, we help you match the right credentials to these areas and your workforce and build you the most cost-effective ID solution that protects your site, equipment and staff.

For many of our construction customers, this isn’t a single order. So, we can set contracts up as an ongoing account. This means replacement cards, ribbons and additional readers are available for as long as the job runs, through one point of contact rather than a fresh conversation every time something needs reordering.

Ready to Secure Your Site's Access?

Whether you need a single site badged or one consistent system across every contract you run, we'll help you get workers, subcontractors, and visitors verified quickly. Contact our team today, and we'll help you build the right identification solution for your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you replace a lost or damaged card the same day on a remote site?

Our express printing service can have cards with you in 1-2 business days, but an on-site printer can get a replacement card issued within minutes. So, if you print a lot of cards and need them straight away, an on-site ID card printer will keep your site's security running every day of the week.

Do your ID cards work alongside a CSCS card, or replace it?

Our cards and access credentials work alongside a CSCS card rather than replacing it. A CSCS card proves competency, while our credentials handle site access and identification, and both can be checked together at the gate.

Can access be set up differently for our own staff versus subcontractors?

Yes. Cards and mobile credentials can carry different access levels by role or company, so your own permanent staff, visiting subcontractors, and delivery drivers can each be cleared for only the areas they actually need to be in.

Can mobile credentials work alongside physical cards, or do we need to choose one?

Both can run side by side. Many contractors keep physical cards for staff who prefer them or work in areas for longer periods of time and then use mobile credentials for a fast-changing subcontractor workforce.

Do you supply ID solutions for multiple sites run by the same contractor?

Yes. We can set up one consistent card design and access standard across every site you run, with delivery to multiple site locations and a single point of contact for reorders and support.

Can card access provide a record for HSE audits or incident reviews?

Yes. Card-based access control logs who entered and when, giving you a timestamped record to refer back to, which holds up far better than a sign-in book when an audit or incident review actually asks the question.
