25mm Split ring

A split ring keeps a proximity fob or a hole-punched ID card on the same lanyard or badge reel as access fobs or keys, so their access credential is in hand when they reach the door. The 25mm size is the standard key ring diameter and holds a fob, a card and a handful of keys comfortably.

These 25mm split rings are made from nickel-plated spring steel, so they hold their tension after repeated use and resist rust when they’re carried every day.

To fit one, prise the end of the coil open with a thumbnail or the edge of a coin and wind the fob or card round until it sits fully inside the ring.

If your cards don’t already have a hole, a card slot punch adds a clean slot that the ring threads straight through.
