About the FARGO DTC5500LMX Professional High Volume ID Card Printer & Laminator

High Volume

The DTC5500LMX is an all in one direct to card printing, encoding and laminating solution, delivering reliable high-volume production at a low cost per card.

Dual card hoppers and large capacity ribbons support maximum productivity.

High Durability

HIG Global's wasteless lamination technology eliminates the need for standard carrier film/take-up core utilised by most lamination units, reducing laminate material costs by as much as 50%.

PolyGuard™ LMX overlaminates increase card durability and are available in three options: clear, holographic and custom holographic for maximum security.

Highly Efficient

HID Global's patent pending iON™ technology ensures the laminator is up to temperature within seconds and is not consuming energy whilst not laminating cards, unlike other laminators which need to remain on to maintain their temperature.

You can choose between single or dual-sided lamination accordingly to the needs of your print job. 

Flexible and Scalable

The DTC5500LMX has many field upgrades available, including encoding options, locking hoppers and WiFi modules to ensure the DTC5500LMX can adapt to your changing requirements.
