About the Evolis Avansia YMCKH Colour Ribbon for Non-PVC Cards
This ribbon is specifically designed for use with non-PVC cards – such as polycarbonate (PC), PET-G and ABS. Polycarbonate cards are ideal for applications where longevity and higher security are mandatory.
The five-panel YMCKH ribbon consists of Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), Black (K) and Heat Seal (H) panels for use with the Evolis Avansia printer.
This ribbon can be used for full-colour printing to one or both sides of the card, and the black resin panel allows for printing black text and barcodes.
The Heat Seal panel is a special coating that is applied after the Y, M, C, and K panels to ensure the clear film adheres properly to cards with an uneven surface.
