About the Bear Hug Enclosed Card Holder
The Bear Hug rigid enclosed card holder holds up to 2 cards securely, ‘hugging’ the cards to ensure they’re protected and can’t fall out. The crystal clear rigid plastic allows for maximum visibility – no parts of the card are obscured, meaning that staff ID is easy to see and barcodes/QR codes can still be scanned through the holder. The cardholder is fully biodegradable.
Bear Hug cardholders are robust and durable, as well as being compatible with all regular lanyard fittings including lobster, trigger and J clips.
The maximum capacity of this holder is 2 CR80, 760-micron cards, but is best suited to holding 1 card, particularly if using access control cards that are slightly thicker.
As everyone tries to do their bit to help with the plastics crisis we appreciate there is a lot of confusion over what’s best – compostable, biodegradable or recyclable? We’ve taken our advice from the British Plastics Federation (BPF) and believe compostable and recyclable products are a better environmental solution to biodegradable products which require very specific conditions to biodegrade and even then can leave behind microplastics which find their way into the soil and water supply.
