This ribbon is compatible with the following printers: Datacard SD460, SP75 and SP75Plus.

About the Datacard YMCKF-KT Colour Printer Ribbon

The YMCKF-KT ribbon comprises Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), Black (K), Fluorescent (F), Black (K) and Topcoat (T) panels.

  • The YMC panels combine to print in full colour
  • The black resin panels are suitable for printing black text and readable barcodes
  • The ultraviolet / fluorescent overlay adds an additional layer of security and protection and can only be ‘read’ under a UV light
  • The additional black panel is for adding black print to the rear of the card
  • The final topcoat adds a layer of protection from wear and tear to the rear of the card

This ribbon is for double sided printing.

It is also worth noting that printer ribbons typically have a shelf life of one year, when stored in the correct conditions (cool, dry and out of direct sunlight). Ribbons that are older or improperly stored are likely to cause problems such as ripping, imperfect printing and jamming the printer.
