About the Evolis LPA049NAA 1.0mil Alternate Clear Patch Full/Mag Cut Printer Ribbon

The Evolis alternate clear patch full/mag cut printer ribbon allows you to add protection to both sides of your technology cards without compromising on the capabilities. This ribbon prints 1.0mil clear laminate onto the front of your cards and 1.0mil clear laminate with a cut out for a magnetic stripe on the reverse to protect your card from scratching, fading, and daily wear and tear for up to 3 years.

It is also worth noting that printer ribbons typically have a shelf life of one year when stored in the correct conditions (cool, dry and out of direct sunlight).  Ribbons that are older or improperly stored are likely to cause problems such as ripping, imperfect printing and jamming the printer.
