Evolis Card Lamination Module: Primacy (S10212/S10252)
The Evolis Card Lamination Module is a practical upgrade for your existing Evolis Primacy or Evolis Primacy 2 ID Card Printer, allowing you to both encode and laminate your ID and access control cards. Laminating the cards not only makes them last longer by adding a durable, protective layer, but it also increases security with the option of including holograms. The Primacy CLM provides additional protection by applying overlays and holographic films, making the cards resistant to damage and difficult to tamper with or replicate. This layer can feature holographic images, micro text, and watermarks, greatly enhancing the security and making the cards tougher to fake. It also protects any electronic elements like RFID chips from damage, helping the cards stay functional and secure over time.The Evolis Lamination module is capable of working as a standalone unit without the need for a Primacy printer. This feature requires you to manually insert each card, as there is no input hopper available. This allows you to laminate existing cards that have already been printed or connect seamlessly to the Evolis Primacy or the Evolis Primacy 2 for in-line lamination in one. Additionally, managing the lamination process is easy with a USB connection directly to a PC. For existing users, a software upgrade is available that enables this functionality on your card lamination module, enhancing its versatility and convenience.
This module also has additional upgrades of an LCD screen that assists by providing information clearly and efficiently, ensuring things such as input, output, cleaning, and lamination can all be managed easily. This card lamination module is ideal for industries that require high-level security passes to be printed and then laminated such as education, hospitality, healthcare, public and government sectors.
