Please note: The Quantum is best suited to printed cards without access control components. If you'd like to print contactless or smart contact access control cards, the Evolis Avanisa is a powerhouse of printing and encoding thanks to its retransfer printer technology. The output is slightly less per hour than the Quantum, but it's still highly capable for work in even the most demanding situations.

The Quantum printer can deliver security features for those who work in high-risk environments. With an optional locking system, you can keep the Quantum 2 secured and prevent access to the card printing components, including the PVC cards and ribbons.
Invest in a printer with the power to do more. Whilst the the Evolis Quantum can handle large volumes, you can add more firepower with a detachable 500-card hopper that takes the printer's capacity to 1,000 cards. The hopper comes as part of two upgrade packages: one with cleaning kits selected to ensure durability, and one with a replacement printhead and a magnetic stripe module for encoding cards in large volumes.
There are a range of compatible ribbons for the Evolis Quantum 2, including YMCKO colour ribbons and single colour ribbons, such as black monochrome ribbons. All Quantum 2 ribbons stocked by ID Card Centre are genuine branded products.
