HID iCLASS Seos + Prox 16K Card (5105RGGMNM)

The HID 5105RGGMNM is a dual-frequency card that carries a 16KB Seos smart chip at 13.56 MHz and a 125 kHz HID Prox chip in the same card body. HID designed the Seos + Prox card for migration. Your existing Prox readers keep working with the 125 kHz side while you replace them with Seos-capable readers, so the move can happen door by door as time and budget allow. Both technologies arrive programmed, with matching sequential numbers on each, so every cardholder keeps one card and one number throughout the changeover.

The Seos side is where the security sits. It’s built on HID’s Secure Identity Object data model and uses secure messaging between the card and the reader, and no traceable identifier is transmitted during a card session. That makes the card much harder to clone than 125 kHz Prox on its own. Seos credentials can also carry logical access, including one-time password (OTP) authentication for network login, so a single card can open doors and sign people into IT systems.

HID offers Seos in 8KB and 16KB versions. The 8KB card covers standard access control, while the 16KB card adds memory for sites that plan to load more applications onto the same credential. If door access is the only job, the HID iCLASS Seos 5106RGGMNM 8K Prox Card has the same dual technology and numbering at a lower price per card.

The Seos chip reads on HID iCLASS SE, multiCLASS SE and HID Signo readers. Legacy iCLASS readers aren’t Seos-capable, so if you’re still running those, tell us what’s on your doors and we’ll check compatibility before you order.

The composite PVC and PET body takes print on both sides, so you can add a photo, name and logo to turn each card into a photo ID badge as well as an access credential. Once every reader on site is Seos-capable, the HID 5005PGGMN iCLASS Seos 16K gives you the same 16KB Seos chip without the Prox side.
