The IDP Smart 31 ID card printer offers UV printing as an advanced security feature, allowing for the addition of invisible UV images or text to ID cards. This hidden layer becomes visible only under ultraviolet light, enhancing security by preventing counterfeiting and unauthorised duplication. It's ideal for organisations looking for a cost-effective yet secure solution to protect their cards, as it adds an extra level of verification without compromising print quality or performance.

The Smart 31 comes standard with single-sided printing (the 31S) with the optional upgrade of double-sided or dual sided printing with the 31D. There also is an optional rewritable card printer the 31R which is the perfect solution for printing temporary or updatable cards allowing you to erase and print new data for up to 500 times. Although the 31R can’t print in colour it instantly provides you with a significant saving as no ribbons are required and the cards can be reused.
