About the IDP SMART 30 and 50 YMCFKO UV Panel Overlay Ribbon with Cleaning Roller

When used with the Smart printer this full colour 200 print ribbon produces the highest quality thermal printed card on the market today.

  • Bright colours and amazing definition on skin tones for ID cards.
  • Prints high definition full colour images on one or both sides of a card.
  • UV overlay panel for added protection and security
  • Ribbon includes tacky cleaning roller to remove dirt and dust from your card to ensure the best possible print quality

The YMCKO UV ribbon comprises Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black and UV Overlay panels

  • The colour panels create detailed and bright images including photos
  • The black resin panel is ideal for fine print personalisation including barcodes  
  • The UV overlay panel seals the card with a clear protective layer to prevent fading and day to day wear and tear whilst adding a layer of security that can only be viewed under UV light

It is also worth noting that printer ribbons typically have a shelf life of one year, when stored in the correct conditions (cool, dry and out of direct sunlight). Ribbons that are older or improperly stored are likely to cause problems such as ripping, imperfect printing and jamming the printer.
