About the Matica Chromxpert Diamond Line Art Retransfer Ribbon (1000 Prints)  - PR000819

The Matica XL8300, XID8300 and XID8600 are reverse transfer printers meaning that the print is first applied to a clear film which is then bonded onto the surface of the card. Therefore retransfer film is an essential component of your consumables kit when printing with the XL8300, XID8300 or XID8600.  

The retransfer film also offers protection from day-to-day wear and tear and from print fading, thus prolonging the life of your cards.
