The Matica XL8300 solves that by printing and encoding oversized 85.6mm x 124mm cards, giving you the largest print area available for plastic event cards. That extra space ensures cards carry full accreditation detail, event branding and a visible security feature without looking cluttered.

Built on a metal chassis, the XL8300 is designed to run through the full run of a multi-day sporting event, conference or festival without the maintenance headaches a lighter machine would bring. It prints at 300 dpi full-colour retransfer, and output runs at over 120 cards per hour, while the 100-card feeder and output hopper keep a production run moving without constant reloading, useful when accreditation teams are printing hundreds of passes against a hard deadline.

For events that need a visible security layer, UV printing is available using UV-compatible ribbons, adding a feature that's difficult to replicate without the right equipment. Where access control is part of the event, from backstage areas to VIP zones, the XL8300 can be upgraded with contactless card encoding, so the same pass that gets a delegate through the door also grants (or restricts) access to specific areas.
