The differences are in how each printer connects and what it can encode.
The Classic is USB-only with no encoding option, making it a compact and cost-effective solution for single-desk printing. The Expert adds Ethernet and lets you fit magnetic stripe or contact/contactless encoding modules, which suits organisations that need to share the printer across a network or want cards that double as access control credentials.
