Magicard 600 ID Card Printer | Enhancing Your Card Production

The Magicard 600 uses direct-to-card printer technology, where the image is transferred directly onto the surface of a card, you can create full-colour designs in seconds. Additionally, it also features rewritable technology which allows you to re-use your cards to erase your old designs and re-print new ones, therefore helping you become more cost-effective. This card printer has one of the fastest print speeds on the market for its price range. Easily print up to 190 full-colour cards or up to 790 monochrome cards per hour with ease. Print a full colour single sided card in 19 seconds. The hopper capacity allows you to keep enhancing your production's scalability.

 

This printer offers both single-sided and double-sided printing as standard, making it the perfect printer for maximising your cards capabilities. Minimise set-up time with the user-friendly interface, simply print on blank plastic cards with any colour ribbon of your choice. Whether that's YMCKO or monochrome designs, this printer is designed for all needs.

 

The Magicard 600 offers digital shredding which ensures any printed data is destroyed after the print process has finished, making it the perfect solution for preventing confidential information from being breached. Additionally, the standard visual Holokote® security adds a watermark over your ID cards to prevent duplication without authority. Coming with optional smart card encoding options such as magnetic stripe and contact / contactless encoding, allowing you to enhance your security and access control requirements.  

 

The 4-year manufacturer warranty offers protection for your printer, including printhead replacement and loan swaps to ensure that you never experience any downtime. With print quality of up to 600 dpi, fully edge-to-edge, you are able to make the most out of your card designs. It takes just 30 seconds to set up and cards can be printed in under 20 seconds, giving you the speeds you need to print quickly.

The Magicard 600 provides versatile card printing capabilities, supporting both single-sided and double-sided printing options. With faster printing and a wide colour spectrum, the 600 allows for photo-realistic designs for efficient printing.




Optional Encoding


Enhance your printing experience with Magicard's optional encoding upgrades. This allows you to create access control cards whilst your printer is printing onto the card surface, offering a more efficient print process and a more complex solution.


Magnetic Stripe Encoding


Encode your magnetic stripe cards during the printing process. Compatible with use of HiCo Magnetic Stripe ISO 7811 cards.

Contact/Contactless Encoding


Add access control to your cards with smart card encoding. Ideal for technologies like contact chip, DESfire, MIFARE and HID iCLASS®. Other specifications may be available upon request.

Security Features and Digital Shredding


The Magicard 600 printer offers safety features in the form of digital technology, ribbons or blank plastic cards. Technology security features include digital shredding that ensures that any printed data is destroyed and removed after the print process has completed to prevent any data breach, whilst HoloKote® watermarks print a frosted watermark using a standard overlay panel on the ribbons.


There are four standard HoloKote® designs, or you can optionally upgrade to create your own design.

Printer Upgrade Options


If you're looking for high volume printing with minimal intervention, upgrade your input hopper to give the Magicard 600 the ability to print batches of 200 cards at a time. Combined with faster print speeds of up to 190 cards per hour, this upgrade offers ease of use.

Can I print dual-sided designs on my cards?


Of course, we offer an upgrade to the double-sided version for only an extra £10, making it a worthy upgrade for producing images on both sides of the card.




How do I know if I need the Magicard 300 or 600?


This entirely depends on your requirements as a business. If you only need to print a moderate volume of cards, the Magicard 300 is the perfect choice. The Magicard 600 offers 600 dpi resolution compared to the 300dpi on the Magicard 300 meaning higher-quality prints. It also offers faster print speeds and enhanced security.
