About the Magicard 3633-0054 Cleaning Rollers

Every card that goes into a Magicard ID card printer passes over two cleaning rollers before it reaches the printhead. An orange tacky roller lifts dust and debris off the card surface, then transfers it to the blue sticky roller, which holds onto it until the roller is replaced. Once that blue roller is saturated, dirt gets through to the printhead, where it spoils printed ID cards and can damage the printhead itself.

Magicard includes a new blue roller with every genuine dye film, so most printers get a fresh one at each ribbon change. This pack of 5 is the re-order kit, so you have spares ready if a roller gets damaged or fills up before the next ribbon goes in.

When you fit a new sleeve, keep the metal shaft from the old roller and slide it into the new one. Pull the tab to peel off the protective tape before the roller goes back into the printer.

Why Regular Printer Cleaning Matters

Fresh cleaning rollers will:

• Help maintain card printer performance and reliability
• Prolong the life of the printhead, transport rollers and magnetic encoder
• Keep full-colour card images sharp and clean
